Grade 1 Place Value Donuts

Grade 1 has had a busy return to learning this term! Whether learning remotely or at school, heads are down, tails are up, and we are throwing ourselves into a range of activities.

Place Value Donuts

The creative juices were flowing when Grade 1 used Place Value ‘sprinkles’ to decorate these delicious donuts. Once they finished decorating, they then wrote out the value of their sprinkles in numeral, expanded and word form. Some sprinkles went up to 4 digits! Yum!
