From the Principal

Celebrating all things great at the Grove.

Welcome back to Term 4

It's unbelievable that we are in the last term of the year already!

As always term 4 is a busy time in schools.  This term we have school photos, book fair, Grandparents' day, the oral health van, wear red for Daniel, Teacher's day, prep orientation, remembrance day, Christmas concert, learning celebrations, STEM day, report cards & transitions to new year level classes.

We all need some Wee-ties to get through it!  Please keep an eye out on FaceBook and Class Dojo for information each week and any updates.  A paper calendar will come home for your reference also.

A big welcome to all our new families that started with us this term!  Thanks for choosing us & becoming a Grover!

Step Up to Education

More information about Prep can be found here: https://www.qld.gov.au/education/earlychildhood/prep/enrolments

These sessions have resumed on a Wednesday.

Our Prep orientation morning for all prep parents and students will be held on Wednesday 10th November

Swimming

Lessons started this week for our younger year levels, the Yr 4 -6 students will start on Monday.  We have grown so much that we need to spread out over the week.  Next year we will break swimming up so older students attend in Term 1 and younger students in Term 4.

Indigenous Games

Students will be engaged with this on Wednesday this week

School payments

Thanks to all those families that have finalised student resource scheme payments. These were due at the end of term 3.  If you still have outstanding amounts we would appreciate these made ASAP.  Statements will come home next week, but please call the office if you need to check.  Small amounts paid each week through direct debit or QKR are appreciated to stay on top of your school payments.
