A Message from Father Manny

Message to St. Joseph the Worker Primary School North Reservoir. (4.2.2022)

“As we place our trust in God let us pray the 2022 will be for us a Year of HOPE”.

With these words which are written on the Church’s white banner for this year, I offer a welcome back and greetings to you all: Maria, Leaders, Teachers and Staff, Students, Parents and families of our Saint Joseph the worker Primary School, North Reservoir. I wish to thank you for your continuing dedication of teaching and learning and caring.

The years 2020 and 2021 provided us with many challenges which we have managed to endure. There were many times that have made us feel insecure in particular at the cancelling and postponing the celebrations of the Sacraments of Confirmation and the First Eucharist. I admire each of you who continued to make every effort to live with patience. But we have been blessed and remain grateful that in November 2021 we celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation given by Bishop Terry, and then in the same month of November we celebrated the First Eucharist for the students of Grade five and Grade four. Congratulations to all of them and their families.

We now look forward to seeing 2022 as a year of Hope with children and teachers being back in the classrooms. As we start the year with great hope, I am sure that each of us can patiently attend to the Government Health Department guidelines and few restrictions that are put in place for the benefit of our own individual health and the health of everyone else.

My thoughts of Blessings and prayers are with you as we continue and persevere in what we need to do for the sake of everyone’s health and safety. If Patience is a Virtue, I am sure that it is one of our best qualities. We are people of Faith and we believe that God is with us. We believe that God protects us and never forget us. Let us make Jesus Real. Let us work together.

I wish you well. May this year 2022 be for us all a Year of HOPE.

May God’s blessings be with you all.

Manny Bonello.
