From the Head of the Arts

We have a number of easels that are being replaced in Art. If you are interesting in obtaining one for a nominal fee please contact Ms Mordy at rachel.mordy@gsg.wa.edu.au

They are very sturdy and would be useful for budding artists.

The inaugural Great Southern Youth Art Award is being held in the Albany Town Hall in June of this year. It is a great opportunity for all young creatives up to 18 years of age! The entry process is online and opens on 7 March and Arts staff are happy to provide support with this.

It is wonderful to see students starting their instrumental lessons this week and ensembles. Students have also keenly embraced the Cinefest competition to create their own short film.
