Office News / School Information

Office Hours
The School Office will be opened during the following times - 8.30am - 4.30pm.
NEW - Residential Address collection
The Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment (the department) would like to notify you that a request has been made for your child’s school to provide residential address and other information as required under the Australian Education Regulation 2013.The school is required to provide the department with the following information about each student at the school:
• Names and residential addresses of student’s parent(s) and/or guardian(s)
• Student residential address (excluding student names)
• Whether the student is a primary or secondary student (education level)
• Whether the student is boarding or a day student (boarding status).
The school collects the above information by generating a unique and unidentifiable – student reference number (SRN) for each student record. The SRN is also only used by the school for this collection. It is not allowed to be used for any other purpose. The number only indicates to the department that each record provided is for one student. Further Information is attached below.
UPDATED - Late arrival / Early collection
Please note changes to late arrival and early collection due to limiting movement around the school.
Students who arrive at school after 9.00am must present to the office for students to be signed in.
Students who leave school before 3.20pm will need to be released and signed out through the office.
If your child is going to be late or leaving early, please notify the office direct rather than submitting via PAM as this affects our absences on the roll.
Student Absences
If your child is absent, you are required to notify the school, please do so via PAM. Instructions are detailed on the 'Simon Everywhere' page of this newsletter.
Absences can also be phoned through to the school office or you can notify your students teacher direct.
Following government guidelines, schools are legislated to contact families regarding ’unexplained absences’, and parents will receive a text message if your student is not marked present on the class roll, including late arrivals that are not signed in at the office. If you receive a message, we ask you to please contact the office to notify reason for absence.
