Nunga News

Niina Marni (Hello)

Welcome back to another year of school and a very special welcome to our new Aboriginal student who has joined us this year in Reception. I hope you all have a wonderful year at school, I’m looking forward to doing more excursions this year when possible!

My ACEO role is on Monday mornings and each fortnight, starting week 4, I will be doing Nunga Group with the Aboriginal students during this time. I work in the front office Monday afternoons, Thursdays and Fridays. I have also taken on a role at Henley High School on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. As I am working at each school every day I am happy to be contacted on any day of the week via phone or email.

We are looking for new members of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) working group. We meet once a term to discuss our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural content for the school program throughout the year. If you are interested, please contact me in the front office or via email at Katherine.moore26@schools.sa.edu.au.

Nukun! (Bye),

Kath
