Congratulations
During the Christmas holidays, we were thrilled to receive the news that Aimee Drummond (Year 12) and Scarlett Quain (Year 12) have been awarded 2021 John Bell Scholarships. These talented drama students will join the Bell Shakespeare Company for one week of training, mentorship and observation of The Comedy of Errors in rehearsal.
For BMGS students to gain two of the three places drawn from a national pool of applicants is a fantastic achievement.
We were further delighted to hear that Josie Hill (Year 11) has been offered a place in the Young Wharfies program at Sydney Theatre Company for 2022. STC commented on Josie's application showing her "passion and understanding of theatre, as well as your eagerness and excitement to be a part of this incredible program with 21 other young theatre enthusiasts."
Congratulations, Aimee, Scarlett and Josie!
