A busy Term 1 begins!
ISA Sport “proper” returns to BMGS this term! Students are enjoying training sessions which have resumed this past week and, with games starting on Saturday, 12th February, the excitement is building!
Also approaching is “Pink Day”, our annual fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation. This day will be held on Saturday, 19th February and we are anticipating a huge showing from the whole school community. Come on down and show your support!
Also, please save the date for the Senior School Swimming Carnival on Friday, 25th February at Glenbrook Pool.
Further, please be aware that during winter the School offers the sports listed below and trials are held later in Term 1:

Congratulations
Congratulations to Charlie Burgess (Year 11) and Casper Larkin (Year 11) who, in January, competed at the NSW Senior State Age Swimming Championships at SOPAC.
Both Charlie and Casper were selected by the Lower Blue Mountains Swimming Club to compete in the 13-17 years Boys 4x50m Club Freestyle Relay. Their relay team shaved more than 2 seconds off their entry time, with both boys achieving new ‘personal best’ times. Congratulations, boys!
Finally, a big welcome back to all. I am looking after the Sport program for Term 1 and if there are any questions or queries please reach out via headofsport@bmgs.nsw.edu.au.
