Primary Swimming Lessons, February 2022.
Welcome to the Week 2 edition of Wollaston's Wrap.
As always, it has been a busy start to the year. Swimming lessons have been a wonderful way to commence the year. Students and staff have enjoyed spending time getting to know each other, chatting on the bus, eating lunch and making the most of lessons in the pool, especially during the hot weather. It is always lovely to hear the feedback from the swimming teachers about how lovely the John Wollaston children are!
This week there was a great deal of information sent home to families regarding the year ahead. If you have not done so already, I encourage you to view the Parent Information Video and read the information packs sent home with your child. If you are missing the Year Level information pack, please contact your child’s classroom teacher. If you would like access to the video or Valuing, Appreciating and Celebrating Learning booklet, please use the links provided below.
It brought great joy to see that some staff, students and families are already trying them out! I love the joy that the Gratitude Certificates are already bringing.
As we embark on the new restrictions in relation to COVID-19, I would like to share my appreciation for our families. Thank you for working with us to do the right thing, reading and following the communication from the School at this challenging time. It may take a little time for us to iron out any issues with these new restrictions and we thank you for your patience. If you or your family are experiencing difficulty, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are here to help.
Take care.
