SENIOR SCHOOL NEWS

Assistant Principal/Senior Sub School Manager
Welcome to the 2022 academic year. In the last weeks of 2021 we started to see a return to normality at school. We look forward to this year being largely free of major restrictions, allowing us to experience school in the best way to maximise learning.

Year 12
Students and staff began the year with the camp at Federation University. Students enjoyed the experience of living on campus and a variety of activities to develop leadership skills, understanding of the requirements of Year 12 and friendships. Students also heard from past students who shared their experiences post school, ranging from those who went straight into work and apprenticeships and those who attended university. As a school community we are so proud of the achievements of our alumni.
Year 12 Jumpers are expected to arrive shortly and will be presented to students.
Year 11
An assembly was held today for students wanting to be Year Level Captains and part of the SRC to conduct their speeches. All students are encouraged to have a “voice” and contribute to decisions made at school. The outcome of positions obtained will be published in the next Newsletter.
ALL Senior Students
It is essential that all students have joined the relevant Google Classrooms (Year Level and VCE/VCAL). Important information will be disseminated via these classrooms, including VCAA, Careers and Pathways Information and notices from Year Level Coordinators.
VCE
Students enrolled in General Maths Units 1 and 2, Further Maths Units 3 and 4, Biology Units 1-4 and Physics Units 1-4 are reminded to pay for Edrolo Text Books. Information was sent via Compass and is available on the VCE Google Classroom.
Please contact Student Wellbeing if financial support is needed.
