Thank you to our wonderful students, staff and community for a very smooth start to term.  Whilst some of our students were anxious on return, the atmosphere and welcome signs and strong welfare focus certainly put our students minds at ease. 

I would like to thank our staff for making it all happen and for the commitment to making our school grounds safe and inclusive. 

Year 10

I am very proud to be the Deputy Principal of Year 10 at Cecil Hills High School and keen to see all students foster and grow into vibrant and well-rounded young adults. There will be many opportunities for students to learn a variety of skills and certainly challenge themselves in the last year of their junior studies. 

Connect lessons: A positive start to our day!

Our Connect groups are the first lesson of the day and are pivotal in setting the tone across the school. All staff use this opportunity to get to know and engage our students in activities that benefit both their self-esteem and confidence. Instilling a positive environment and adding a bit of fun into connect sessions creates an enjoyable and motivating start to the day for all involved. 

SRC and our Leadership team - Valentine's Day, 14th February 

Our student leadership team is working hard to deliver the first SRC initiative of the year. Look out for those red roses!

I am really looking forward to working closely with our School Captains - Jessica Narvaiza and Andrew Gewargis and our Vice Captains -  Brandon Nguyen and Lara Ly and the broader leadership team across many activities and events across the 2022 calendar year.
