Parents & Friends of Macleod

The Parents and Friends of Macleod is a long-established group within the Macleod College community which provides parent and guardian engagement, fundraising and activity support for students.

Members are extremely enthusiastic, eager to actively fundraise and support the school in whatever way they can.

Members can decide to engage in whichever way they can – attend meetings, assist with volunteering or providing virtual support via our active Facebook group (search “Macleod College Parents and Friends”).

The newly elected committee has been quick to hit the ground and engage in fundraising and event planning.

2022 is going to be an exciting year to be involved and plans are already in progress for an Easter Raffle, Mother’s Day Stall and Raffle and our ever-popular Billy G’s Cookie Dough fundraiser, to help with those sugar cravings in Term 3.  You will also see our volunteers selling icy poles each week (usually Fridays) for $1 each in the primary area and helping with BBQs at open days and school events.

We encourage you to get involved and have a say on upcoming activities and how we will spend our raised funds.  Recent purchases include supporting the purchase of the electronic noticeboard at the Aberdeen Road entrance in the secondary campus and new furniture for break out areas in the primary area.

Our committee is always happy to chat around the school grounds, so if you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to stop and have a chat.
