Newly Appointed Staff

Melissa Kobold

Melissa Kobold,  I am A PDHPE and Commerce Teachers who has recently moved from Canberra, after 4 years I was ready to try something new which bought me to Marian. My Hobbies include all things outdoors but in particular netball and going to the beach (which I know will be hard to do here!). My passion for education started when I realised that I enjoyed helping others succeed and be the best versions of themselves. I am excited for this new Journey in Griffith.

Tess Woodhouse

My name is Tess Woodhouse and I have recently started my gap year at MCC as a Teachers Aide. I have absolutely loved my time already, and it has been such a rewarding job! I am currently studying to become a Librarian and hope to work with students ensuring that they love books just as much as I do!

Raj Kaoor

My name is Raj Kaoor, and I have joined MCC as a Teacher Aide this year. I am so excited to get to know you and your child throughout the year!I am originally from INDIA, and I moved to Griffith in 2002. I am a mother of 3 children ( 17, 15 & 10).  Teaching is my life's passion, and I have been working with children for more than 10 years. Teaching and working with children is a joy to me. Part of my goal as a TA is to spark curiosity in students' minds. During my time in your child’s class, I hope to excite your child about the world of learning and broaden their academic interests. I am delighted to collaborate with your child to make this academic year a successful one.

Lilly Harris

My name is Lilly Harris and I am currently on my gap year at MCC as a Teachers Aide.  I loved MCC so much as a graduating student last year that I decided to come back and be part of the welcoming staff at MCC.  I work in the Creative Arts Department as well as Learning Support and I have found it to be a great foundation for my future studies.

Jemimah Brooker

I finished my HSC last year at MCC and I am taking a gap year before I continue studying for a Bachelor of Mathematics and Italian (Secondary Education) at university.  Currently, I am working as a Teacher's Aid which is a great way to observe the classroom across all subjects in a new perspective which gives me insight into my dream career path of becoming a secondary teacher. As well as mathematics and Italian, I am very social and passionate about sports as I love to play soccer and tennis as well as the drums and piano in my free time.

Kendall Ward

My name is Kendall Ward and I have been teaching history/geography and religion for 13 years now. I taught these subjects overseas for 9 years in the UK, Mongolia, Norway & UAE, before making my way home to Australia. I am very passionate about literally experiencing history through travel, and a major geek with gaming on the PS5. I have literally only been in Griffith for 3 weeks, but already I am looking forward to permanently staying here, as the welcoming from everyone has been lovely.

Lee-Ann Kervin

My name is Lee-Ann Kervin. I have been teaching for 15 years all around the state as far away as Lightning Ridge (look it up!) and in city schools too! I love the study of English as one of my hobbies is to get lost in a book. I also enjoy photography, learning languages (currently working on Icelandic!) and volunteering with the State Emergency Service. I love Griffith thus far and look forward to exploring it further!
