Backflips Against Bullying

Dear Parents,
Today, Friday 19th March 2021, is the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence.
In recognition and support of this initiative, St Joseph’s has booked the Backflips Against Bullying incursion (at school) next Wednesday morning 24th March for all of our students to attend.
The aim of the program is to change the social culture within Australian schools, and build students who are resilient, empathetic and with strong communication skills. The information is presented in a dynamic way through Parkour & acrobatics to address bullying and to help students who exhibit bullying behaviour, as well as those who suffer at its hands.
The Backflips Against Bullying program features 3 entertainers, who use their incredible acrobatic skills to captivate and engage students, earning their respect and encouraging them to take control of their own lives and make changes on a social level within the school. "When students are engaged, they learn.”
