MCC Hospitality Cafe

Year 12 has been busy with their new cafe! Each week they have been selling a range of coffee’s to the staff of MCC as they practice and fine tune their barista skills.

 As part of their Certificate II in Hospitality, students learn how to operate an industrial coffee machine and grinder. 

They then serve coffee as part of their service periods at the college. Each coffee is evaluated by the consumer and the students take on the feedback to improve their skills next time.

Thankyou to the staff who have supported their cafe so far. Watch this space for some new and exciting news from year 12 Hospitality. 

MCC Cabaret

Year 12 hospitality students assisted with the MCC Club Cabaret on Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th of March. This event met their service period requirements for the Hospitality HSC course. Students were required to prepare and serve platters to the patrons on both nights. They worked well together as a team and were able to experience the challenges and rewards of the Hospitality industry. Thankyou to all the students who were able to assist. We look forward to other opportunities to showcase our Hospitality students.
