Calder Sports

On Thursday 29th April, Grades 3, 4, 5, 6 travelled to Boort for the Winter Sports. The conditions were perfect with no clouds and plenty of sunshine. Students competed in Minkey Hockey, Netball, Soccer, AFL 9’s and Newcomb. They were split into mixed teams from other schools in surrounding areas. The day gave students an experience meeting, engaging, interacting and participating with new students. Results varied but all Wedderburn students gave their very best and had a very enjoyable day, which was the main purpose of the day. Well done to those who attended and particularly to the organisers for a fantastic Winter Sports.
