Learning Conversations
Thanks to all parents and carers who made the effort on Monday to see their children’s teachers. This is an important process for parents and carers to become further informed about their child's progress and also find ways to further support and assist in their learning at home. We are always trying to get better at what we do and would appreciate any feedback on how to keep improving with our Learning Conversations. Thoughts and ideas can be emailed to me at dean.lockhart@education.vic.gov.au
Cross Country
Whenever you cancel an event you always hope it is the right decision. As the day evolved on Tuesday, I think we can all agree that it definitely was the right decision to postpone the Cross Country. We have re-scheduled for this coming Monday 10th May. The BBQ will run again and students will only miss classes during 2a and 2b. All parents and carers are welcome to come and watch Ansett smash Jacka!!!!
School Beanies
Great to see all our new college beanies being worn by our students. Please remind your child that they are not to be worn in our classrooms. All classrooms are heated.
Whole School Assembly
We have our calendared whole school assembly this Friday 1a. All parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Attitudes to School Survey (AtoSS) - Starts 10 May
The AtoSS is an annual student survey delivered by the Department of Education and Training to assist your child’s school to gain an understanding of students' perceptions and experience of school. Students will be asked about their thoughts and feelings in relation to their school, their learning, peer relationships, bullying and life in general. Please see attached letter.
