Student Services

Jonathan Prosser (College Chaplain)

Mondays 8am - 4pm

Thursdays 12.30 pm – 8.30 pm

Jonathan works closely with the Residential and Farm staff to assist in supporting the emotional and mental wellbeing of students in different settings.

Jonathan has a background in Agriculture, growing up on a wheat/sheep farm in Wagin and working with the Department of Agriculture in Animal Health Laboratories in Albany and Wheat milling and rheology in South Perth.

Jonathan completed his Bachelor of Science at Curtin University and Bachelor of Theology at Trinity Theological College.

One of Jonathan’s main aims at Harvey Ag College is to facilitate a calming influence on students and staff during traumatic or challenging times, but also in the normal day to day. This is done through listening to what people have experienced, how they are feeling and assisting in discussions and actions moving forward.

A Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Practice from UNE has increased Jonathan’s awareness in some of the mental health challenges that face youth today.
