Governing Council 

Para Vista - a community of learners working together!

In week 4 of this term the Governing Council had our first day time meeting. This

provided the opportunity to visit the upgraded Vista corridor and the Hive classrooms. Emilie Banks (Hive teacher) showed the Governing Council the work the reception children have been doing in reading and phonics, and how the reading goals for each child are displayed. Next term we will have another daytime meeting and will look at a different area of the school. 

The Mothers Day stall was successful and all the children enjoyed choosing a special gift for their Mum. We also did really well on fundraising efforts with the community raffle. Money raised from fundraisers is going towards lunch time play equipment for students.
