Preschool
Over the last couple of weeks we have had a focus on digging, building and construction. The mud pit has been the place to be with the children loving to dig holes, use the wheelbarrow and fill up large traffic cones with dirt. The students have also been using loose parts to build tall towers, then having tremendous fun pushing / kicking them over.
We have also started being scientists and investigating chemical reactions. We have been following procedures, making predictions and carrying out experiments. It has been fun observing how different materials react with one another.
Some children have really enjoyed the story tables to retell familiar stories using the props and trying to remember the language that was used in the books.
