From the Principal
Volunteer Week
National Volunteer week was on Monday 17th May to 23rd May. I would like to recognise, celebrate and thank our volunteers who play a vital role in our school. The 2021 theme is Recognise, Reconnect and Reimagine, which is certainly an important theme for schools as we begin to reconnect with volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering please see the front office and arrange a time to discuss the volunteering requirements. We do understand that in the changing environment that many Australians are time poor or experiencing uncertainty or stress. We can certainly work with you on how to adapt a volunteering role to suit both the needs of the school and yourself. Evidence shows that volunteering can connect us to others in our community and can be a potential pathway to employment. As the theme for Volunteer week is #waveforvolunteers I would like to offer a wave to our wonderful volunteers - Thank You!
NAPLaN
NAPLaN has finished for another year and our students were very persistent with the tests. We congratulate all the students that took part and know the results will be a reflection of the hard work and dedication to learning.

A reminder that there is an upcoming Student Free Day on Friday 11th June. Please book into OSHC if you require care for your child/ren. Educators will be using this day for literacy improvement and planning.
