Learning Hub and Wellbeing Update

'The Hub has become a real asset in our school, highly valued by staff and students alike.'

Hub News

We are very lucky at Our Lady of Fatima to have our very own Counsellor - Miss. Amy Booker.

Amy works with students throughout all the year levels and in both small groups and one-on-one intervention in social emotional support.  Amy also facilitates our lunchtime activities which are always a favourite “go to” in the playground. Just recently, she has begun a Lego club on Mondays and Fridays during lunchtimes which has been very popular.

Amy’s room is full of comfy beanbags, fiddle tools, positive thought boxes, social emotional resources and is a favourite place for students to visit. It is part of the Hub and Amy is an important part of our Well Being team.

Amy’s love for her career, her welcoming and understanding presence, her love for all the students and her positive attitude to life is infectious. Amy makes a difference in student’s lives everyday and we thank her for her commitment to making Fatima an extra special place.

This week and next week especially we want you to know that Amy is only one of the fabulous staff members here at Fatima who are here to support and listen to you.

From all the students and staff - thank you Miss Booker for making us all smile everyday.
