2/3UR - Mother's Day Reflections

Last week in 2/3 UR the students looked into the roles that significant women play in their lives and in our communities. Students shared what they loved and cherished about the mother figure in their life. Many students’ expressed how much gratitude they felt towards their mothers. Some students felt their mums were the best at helping with home learning, and getting ready for school. Other students said their mums were great soccer players, liked joining in video games competitions and reading stories with them. The entire class worked on creating a special gift for Mother’s Day including a card with a warm message. The class also read the story ‘Super Mum’ and talked about how each mum is unique and special. It was an extremely important topic for the week and students loved acknowledging all the love and care they received from their mum.
