Walkathon - Rescheduled 

The previous date set for the Walkathon on 15th June has had to be revised and will now likely be run in term 4 with the final date to be confirmed soon. 

The Walkathon is run during school hours to raise money for the school. Family and friends are welcome to come along on the day to cheer the children on. 

Seeking relief School Crossing Supervisors

Glen Eira City Council is currently recruiting relief school crossing supervisors. We are looking for people who are willing to travel across the whole of the municipality, have their own transport and have availability to be called on at short notice in the mornings and in the afternoons. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with people, be reliable, hardworking & have basic computer skills.

Upcoming Events

2nd Hand Uniform Sale

We will be running another 2nd hand uniform sale this term, stay tuned for confirmed date to be announced. It will be held on a Friday afternoon (approx 3:15pm to 3:45pm).

Parents Comedy Night

In lieu of hosting individual events for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, this year we are inviting all parents, guardians, and friends of the Ormond Primary School Community to come together for a comedy night out.

Trivia Night

The annual Trivia Night is scheduled to run in Term 3.  As the event draws closer and details are finalised, more information will be communicated. 

Fun event

We are currently investigating options to run a fun event of some sort such as a disco or something else in term 4. If you have a great idea to suggest, please let us know at p.and.f.ormond@gmail.com .

Mango Drive 

It seems a long way away given we are just on our way into winter, in term 4 we will again be running the mango drive to raise funds for the school.
