Feast of Corpus Christi
In recent weeks, the Church has had beautiful celebrations of Pentecost, Trinity Sunday and the Feast of Corpus Christi. The most recent feast celebrates the presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
We sometimes use the phrase that a person ‘has a special place in our heart’. If a surgeon was to open our heart, they would not find a person inside, but it is a beautiful expression of love. We know the presence of those we love, and it is real.
In the same way, the presence of Christ is with us through receiving Communion at Mass. The ‘body and blood’ is a total gift of Jesus to us.
Building update
Members of our College community will be noticing gradual changes to our physical landscape as our building program progresses. We will write to families in the coming week to advise of changes to parking and drop-off and pick-up. A traffic consultant has been engaged to provide advice and invariably there will be some challenges as changes occur.
Below is a timeline outlining proposed developments in the coming 18 months. It is a staged process in an attempt to minimise disruption but clearly there will be some inconvenience at various times.
