Premiers' Reading Challenge
First-to-finish Class Competition
While we've been in lockdown, it appears that many of our students have used the time to read a stack of books. What a wonderful way to spend those two weeks!
As a result, we've seen a bit of movement in our first-to-finish competitions. FTK have taken the lead in the F-2 competition, with 21% of their class completing the Challenge. While some other senior classes are chipping away at their lead, 5AJ remain in front of the 3-6 competition, with 59% of their class having read their required number of books. The first class to finish the 30-book challenge (Foundation to Year Two) and the 15-book challenge (Years Three to Six) will be awarded a casual clothes day later in the year.
Keep visiting the Challenge site (https://vprc.eduweb.vic.gov.au/home) and entering books as they are completed. The Challenge ends on September 17.
