Primary Netball All Schools Cup
On Tuesday 1st June, St Philomena's students from Stage 2 and 3 participated in the NSW Netball All Schools Cup at Ron Harborne Oval.
St Philomena's had two teams compete in the Year 3/4 NetsetGO competition where they played various games against schools in Moree. All students did a fantastic job!
We had three teams compete in the Year 5/6 competition. All teams displayed great skill and teamwork, placing St Philomena's 1st, 2nd and 3rd, what an amazing result! We will now travel to Tamworth on Wednesday 28th July to compete at the Northern Inland Regional Finals. Congratulations to all students!
Mrs Davison will be running training and trials for the upcoming Regional Finals in Tamworth on Wednesday 28th July for all Stage 3 students who participated on the day. More details will be shared soon.
Thank you to our super star umpires: Charlotte Davison, Isobel Schweitzer, Zalia Hobday, Stella Madden, Stella Karam, Charlotte Ball and Heidi Cannington, who did an amazing job umpiring all of our games.
Moree Zone Cross Country
On Thursday 27th May selected St Philomena's students travelled to Gravesend to participate at the Moree Zone Cross Country. It was a fun day out for all students and everyone did an exceptional job, running against students from schools in the Moree Zone.

Armidale Diocesan Rugby Union Trials and Knockout Competition
On Monday 24th May, the following Stage 3 students travelled to Tamworth to participate in the Diocesan Rugby Union Trials and Knockout Competition.

They had a great day playing against teams from various schools in the Armidale Diocese. Our St Philomena's team displayed great teamwork and showed off their Rugby Union skills playing against some tough competition. Well done, St Phillies!
St Philomena's Athletics Carnival
St Philomena's will hold our Athletics Carnival on Friday 18th June and Thursday 24th June. Students are currently participating in their field event trials during PE. We will hold our Year 3 - 10 field event finals on Friday 18th June at school. A program for the day will be shared soon. We will hold our Kindergarten - Year 10 track events at Boughton Oval on Thursday 24th June.
Reminder: Secondary Netball All Schools Cup permission notes are due on Friday 11th June! Please make payment on QKR or to the school office.
