House Championship Update

Building our House Culture at Edgars Creek Secondary College

Since we last checked in on the House Championship, Jenkins has reclaimed second place after a brief drop to third at the end of Term 1.

Doherty has extended its lead to a margin of 12,602 points. Wollert is in third place, with 205,427 points, while McDonald continues to round out the lot in fourth place.

Rewarding Positive Behaviours

The House Points system forms part of a suite of strategies that Edgars Creek Secondary College has in place as part of its Schoolwide Positive Behaviours (SWPB) primary prevention (tier 1) supports for all students, staff and settings.

This focus leads to 'more time to focus on relationships and classroom instructions' (DET, 2021). Such strategies can contribute to:
