Green Team 

Raffle:

In the lead up to the lockdown, the Green Team were busy organising a raffle to raise money to replant and regenerate the productive garden. After some incredibly generous offers from the local community, the Green Team held a raffle on the night of the Mid-Year Concert. The raffle raised a very welcome $300 to kick start the initiative.

Canteen:

Before the lockdown, Green Team wrote to the Canteen to encourage the introduction of Keep Cups and a reusable cup scheme. Upon returning to school we hope to chat with the canteen providers to further discuss this possibility. In the meantime, Green Team encourages all users of the canteen to bring a Keep Cup for hot drinks to reduce the amount of single use cups being consumed. 

Compost:

Keep an eye out for new compost bins in the school grounds, in the coming weeks. The compost is ready to receive all food scraps! More news on this soon.
