Year 9 & 10 

Trade Fit Expo

On Tuesday 17th May, a group of Year 9 and 10 female students attended the Trades Fit Expo in Melbourne.

The Trades Fit Expo was targeted at Year 9 and 10 female students who were interested in completing a trade in their future careers.

The expo had a variety of businesses that offer apprenticeships and traineeships that students could explore and complete a variety of activities. Students tried lock picking, bricklaying, cake decorating and were even able to get inside a truck and have a feel for what it might be like.

Students got a lot out of the day and are now aware of the opportunities that are available to them.
