Kweryn Alley

Science Teacher

Kerwyn joined Nossal High School in 2015 as a Chemistry and Science teacher. He started a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne  thirteen years ago and  stayed to  complete a PhD in Chemistry followed by a  Master of Teaching. During this time Kerwyn had the opportunity to work as a research assistant in various research groups and teach undergraduate chemistry students. In his spare time, Kerwyn completed three licentiate music diplomas whilst teaching music at a local music school. It was during this time that he developed a love for teaching and learning. On a personal note, Kerwyn loves spending his leisure  time doing puzzles, Lego (which he has to hide from his little kids), craft, listening and playing music, and convincing his family why getting a pet spider (or two) will be beneficial for the wellbeing of all.

Jason Bell

Facilities Manager

Jason started at Nossal HS as a Foundation Facilities Manager just prior to the school being constructed/opened. The school was very small back then with only a handful of foundation staff and students in the first year.

He has 16 years experience in this role and he is always keen to carry out hands on tasks. Currently, Jason is our staff representative for Health and Safety (HSR) and also involved in various school events, committees, student activities such as cooking BBQ during Nossal special events at school and helps out with traffic safety for staff and students during school excursions. At present, he is assisting students in the NEST Team and in collaboration with Clyde Road level crossing removal group (Fulton Hogan) he is assisting with the  creation of an outdoor garden and seating area for our students, which is very close to completion.  Apart from Jason's expertise in facilities area, he loves motorsports, so he watches MOTOGP every time its on and  V8 supercars. He spends most weekends touring on 2 wheels (Motorcycling) to wind down after a busy working week.
