Art After Dark

Art after Dark is a free networking event hosted by the City of Albany’s Arts and Culture team. The event aims to bring people in the arts industry and local art community together, to chat, share ideas and learn about opportunities in the art word.
The next Art after Dark will celebrate local performing arts with an event at the Port Theatre on Thursday 16 June 5.00pm to 7.00pm, hosted by Albany Light Opera and Theatre Co. So far local performing arts groups are:
- Albany Light Opera and Theatre Company
- Spectrum Theatre
- Southern Edge Arts
- Albany Children's Theatre (A.C.T)
- Great Southern Playback Theatre
Local performing arts organisations will be invited to share a snapshot of their creative practice, including tips for those interested in learning more about the local performing arts scene and how to get involved. Kalgan Playgroup
With the relaxation of COVID restrictions the School is excited that families can once again join Kalgan Playgroup. Playgroup runs on a Monday morning from 9.00am to 11.00am in the Kindy room at Great Southern Grammar.
