Arts Department Update

Art

Year 7

Year 7 Art students have just finished their still-life drawings after learning about drawing techniques, values, shading and observational drawing. 

Featured students are Ella Whitehead, Abbie Jessup and Chase Boxshall.

Year 8

Year 8 Art students have been working on acrylic paint techniques and how to create landscape elements. They will be creating a landscape painting for their CAT. 

Featured students are Madeline Howlett and Sarah Dyer.

Year 9

Year 9 Painting and Drawing Students learned about Medieval Art and practiced their coloured pencil techniques. They created Dragon eyes and Illuminated Letters. Students have also been practicing their watercolour techniques on creating landscape elements after learning about Impressionism and other landscape artists. 

Featured students are Zach Daley, Imagen Harrison, Justine Parish, Sienna Frendo, Rylee Clegg, Hailey Leech, Dylan Varley and Condoleeza Gatpan.

Year 10

Year 10 Ceramic students have been working on their architectural clay models.

Year 11

Year 11 students working on their mock-up paintings in their folios after trialing acrylic, watercolour and oil paints.
