Chalk Café​

Chalk Café will be closed for the next two weeks as the students are on exam break and taking the opportunity to visit a local cafe to experience their breakfast service.

 

The Café will reopen on Tuesday 12 June, with a delicious offering of home cooked food including  zucchini fritters served with fresh salsa and poached egg, homemade apple and cranberry granola served with mascarpone and fresh blueberries and toasted banana bread with local honey.

 

College of Electrical Training (CET)

 

On Saturday 23 June 2018, CET Joondalup and Jandakot will welcome students, their families, electricians and contractors to find out about CET’s diverse range of electrical and telecommunications pre-apprenticeship and post-trade courses at the annual Open Day.

This event is a great opportunity for high school students considering a career in the electrical industry to find out more about studying to gain an electrical apprenticeship pathway at CET. Electrical Group Training (EGT), the largest employer of electrical apprentices in the country, will be in attendance to speak with students about potential employment opportunities.

See their innovative training facilities and learning environment and speak with their experienced instructors. Talk with their friendly administration team about fee subsidies and flexible study options – your course of choice may be available to study during the evenings or on the weekend.

Educating Adventures Limited are offering ski and snowboard instructor internship opportunities in Canada and Japan. Their Ski and Snowboard Internship program is the best way for keen skiers and snowboarders to become qualified instructors and start working all in one winter season. The following are course requirements:

  • Intermediate to advanced ski or snowboard ability
  • Hold an Australian passport
  • Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • English speaking required
