From the Business Manager

It has come to the School’s attention that a business on Lake Road, adjacent to the School, is being used as a school drop off/pick up zone. Use of this location requires students to cross Lake Road, which is four lanes wide and has a 70 km/h speed limit, without the assistance of a crosswalk attendant. Parents and guardians are requested to refrain from continuing this activity due to the risk and danger it poses to our students.
Thank you for your continued patience in the new carpark drop off/pick up off zone, especially as it has finally begun to rain. We have seen a marked improvement in the time it takes to clear the carpark over the past few weeks. To further assist traffic flow, effective Tuesday 5 June, student vehicles will now be relocated to the first two rows of the rear carpark. Staff who normally park in the rear carpark have been asked to park in the former slip road.
The completion of the shelters has been delayed due to the rain and it is now anticipated that they will be completed after the long weekend. Construction of the multipurpose courts continues and everyone is reminded to stay clear of this area.
The School is hoping to construct an undercover walkway from the Upper Primary Building, through to the BDISC and down to the carpark, in the near future. We are also planning for an improved accessible walkway leading from the carpark to the BDISC.
