It was wonderful to welcome all the students back to school this week. They certainly appeared refreshed and eager to get back into class.
Parent/Teacher Interviews took place this week, and we are sure parents/caregivers received productive feedback regarding their daughter’s Semester 1 performance; we hope the girls take the advice they received and put it into practice to achieve their new goals for the end of the year.
This morning, we recognised the academic achievements of our girls at the Academic Awards Assembly. Due to current COVID restrictions, parents/caregivers will be unable to attend this assembly. All students should be proud of the results they achieved last semester, and we hope it encourages and motivates them to continuously seek improvement.
Subject Selection Evenings
Based on the latest announcement regarding the extension of COVID restrictions, we will change the format of the subject selection evenings from face to face to an online live zoom event. We will send parents/caregivers a link that they can join in to view the presentation. The start times will be as they were advertised.
- The Year 10 into 11 Subject Selection Evening will occur Week 2, Monday 19 July at 6:30 pm
- The Year 8 into 9 Subject Selection Evening will occur Week 2, Tuesday 20 July at 6:00 pm
- The Year 9 into 10 Subject Selection Evening will occur Week 2, Tuesday 20 July at 7:00 pm
ICAS Assessments
Clayfield College will be participating in the ICAS Assessments this year. Students in Years 3 to 12 will have the opportunity to test their higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Science and Digital Technologies. A letter outlining the information below will be emailed next week.
We will be conducting the ICAS testing during the following weeks, and the specific times will be published by year level closer to the date:

The cost per test is $17.05, including GST.

The Parent Payment System is a simple and secure online payment service specifically for parents to purchase ICAS Assessments.
