ArtVo Excursion

On Tuesday 18 February, Unit 2 Psychology students had a wonderful day out in the city visiting the Into the Mind exhibition at the Melbourne Museum and the immersive gallery at ArtVo.  Students were able to consolidate their understanding of Visual Perception at the Museum and experience a full size Ames Room.

They then went to ArtVo to experience and photograph the 3D art on display.  These photographs were annotated by students on their return to school demonstrating their understanding of the application of Visual Perception Principals by the artists in creating their 3D works of art.

Unit 1 Physics

The Unit 1 Physics students have been exploring the nature of charge in their first area of study, Electricity.

The students braved the Van de Graaff  machine to see the effect of static charge and seemed slightly disappointed when they were not shocked! The girls have developed skills in connecting electric circuits and examining the changes in current and voltage.
