U10 TIGERS

This year I had the pleasure of coaching the U10 Tigers. Most were new to hockey, others playing their 2nd season of U10s. We started the season slowly, however as players improved we were able to beat our opposition, with our best game resulting in an 8-1 win. Each player showed enthusiasm and encouragement towards teammates, throughout weekly training session and games. With Bettina, Sophie and Luke as striking forwards and Massimiliano, Miles and Luke through the mid, our team was led to victory. Not to mention Leo and Pearl in the back line stopping any opponents getting near the goal. Thanks to the parents for being supportive and bringing the players to Saturday morning games every week, and a special mention to Vaughan Thompson for coaching in the last week. Sad to the see the season end, however hoping to see everyone around on the pitch soon.

U10 LIONS

This season has had its challenges and fortunately our U10s have not let this dampen their enthusiasm for learning and developing new hockey skills in training that they then tried and tried again to take into their games throughout the season.

We must thank all our coaches and other TEM juniors who planned and helped with training sessions, who encouraged and assisted our players on match day in all weather and to all the family members that supported them. And finally, to all the U10 TEM champions, well played this season and see you back in TEM colours next season.

U10 PANTHERS

Congratulations to all the kids who played in the U10 Panthers team this season. What a great group of learners! We had some experienced players, and some players who were new to hockey, but everyone played with enthusiasm, a willingness to learn new things and try different positions. Each game we had one team goal, and without fail every team member was able to carry out that goal in the game. Thanks to all the players and parents for being so positive and polite, and just having lots of fun. I am looking forward to seeing you all back at TEM next year.
