Curriculum

Welcome back to Term 3, we hope everyone had a nice and relaxing break whatever you got up to. In the last week of Term 2 we had a very exciting week with Foundation students performing in their first production 'A Colour Catastrophe'. The students did such a fantastic job learning their lines, words to the songs and their dances. It was amazing to see it all come together on the day of the performance. The students used their character strengths of bravery and perseverance throughout the week to participate in the dress rehearsal and then their performance in front of an eager audience of senior school students.

In Mathematics we reviewed some of the topics we had learned over the term such as graphing, counting and subitising through a variety of games such as 'roll and graph', snakes and ladders and race to 100.

In Literacy, we read one of our favourite stories 'Zoo School' and students used their character strength of creativity to make an animal mask. In writing sessions students worked on their writing goals, such as sitting letters on the baseline and leaving spaces between words.
