Year 10 Students

During Term 3 the Careers staff hit the ground running - and don’t stop until they reach the end of term!

It is a big term for our Year 10 students.  This week we presented at the Year 11 in 2022, VCE Information evening. On Friday the Year 10 Careers Panel will take place with past students returning to the College to share their experiences of Year 10 and beyond and provide tips and their insights re the choosing of a Year 11 and 12 program and vocational and subject choices. Monday 19 July is the VCAL Information Night and the two weeks from Monday 19 July are filled with Year 10 thirty minute one-on-one interviews with a member of the Careers team.  As you can see, there is lots of support for students as they make big decisions about their future.

Year 12 Students

Later this term, all Year 12 students will have a 60 minute one-on-one interview with a member of the Careers team. Those students planning to submit VTAC applications for tertiary courses for enrolment in 2022 and beyond will receive help to submit their VTAC application. Assistance is also provided with Early Entry applications to the various universities and with applications for Special Consideration (SEAS). A must attend event is the VTAC Information evening to be held on Monday 9 August. Students, in particular, should make note of this date and plan to attend the meeting, but parents are also welcome.  More information to follow. Students planning a GAP year, studying a pre-apprenticeship, obtaining employment, joining the Defence Force, attending Bible College or embarking on a different post secondary pathway will also have an interview with a member of the Careers team and will be assisted with implementing their plans.
