School Council President

I'd like to acknowledge and thank the whole school community for its resilience and ability to remain positive in the face of yet another week of lockdown and remote learning.  We've all been here before but that doesn't make it any easier and it's difficult knowing that life had been relatively normal up until just a few weeks ago.

From a personal perspective, I know that my two daughters are enjoying the extra midday class check-ins as well as the Kahoot quizzes that help liven up their school days. We're also making an effort to get outside every day for a walk or run no matter how wet or cold the weather is and have often seen other ACPS families doing the same thing.

Thank you to those who completed our communication survey. We are currently reviewing the results and looking to see how we can improve our communication with the school community.

We held our monthly Finance Committee via Zoom this week and will be holding our next Council meeting (also via Zoom) on Tuesday July 27.

Please take care of yourself and those around you and hopefully we'll see everyone back at school before too long.
