Wellbeing and Engagement
Rangeview Families – I am so sorry that we are here again. I write this on Monday night with the knowledge that the lockdown will continue beyond tomorrow. As always we are incredibly proud of the way our Rangeview Community steps into these changes, with acceptance and grace. Please remember that the school is here for you and reach out to us, your teachers or Liz, Kate and myself, if you need support. The school website has a home learning links page with links to education resource such as Reading Eggs and FUSE, but remember that this is also a good place to find support resource such as;
- Parentline 13 22 89
- Kids Helpline 1800 55 1800
- Mensline 1300 78 99 78
- Orange Door https://orangedoor.vic.gov.au/
- Headspace https://www.headspace.com/register
These can all be found at https://rangeview.vic.edu.au/home-learning-links/
I came across the below cartoon recently and it rings true at this time. Remember that in times of stress, such as the prolonged stress of repeated lockdowns, it can only take a very small thing to tip us over. Remember to take care of yourselves.
RRRR & eSmart Day – Term 2
On the last day of Term 2 we held our celebration day for Rights Resilience and Respectful Relationships and eSmart. It was a wonderful day with the students embracing the costumes and taking part in wonderful buddy sessions throughout the day. Our staff joined in the fun and everyone had a ‘SUPER’ day. My thanks go to Carol Wilson our RRRR Leader, Meg Hubbard our Wellbeing Leading Teacher and to Steve Atkinson our eSmart Leader. All put considerable work into making this a wonderful day for our students.
