Welcome back to Term 3!

We hope you all had a restful break and are looking forward to another exciting term.

This term our Inquiry unit is Toys and Technology. We will be doing lots of learning and making of different toys. Students will begin to use iPads as learning tools and learn further about the importance of being a responsible digital citizen. We will also explore other devices that enable us to code and solve problems.

Students have been engaged with lessons from the Cyber Safety Project to support their understandings about being safe when using the internet. We have been practising the strategy of ‘Think about how you feel’ when online to ensure we remain safe at all times. Students have also explored 5 trusted adults they can turn to to ask for help.       

Remote and Flexible Learning is back and we will continue our learning from home. We will use Seesaw for our learning activities.
