Learning Centre 4
Congratulations to all students on the way you have commenced the year, our learning centre has a very calm & positive atmosphere & we look forward to a great year as leaders in our school.
ICT Agreement
It was lovely to meet many of our families at the Meet & Greet last Thursday & be able to put faces to names. At these meetings parents & students signed the Technology user agreement for 2020. If you were unable to attend last week can you please contact your child’s Learning Group teacher to organise a suitably convenient time to come say hi & sign the Technology user agreement. Students will not be able to use their Chrome books until the agreement has been signed.

DOJO
We ask all families to sign up for Dojo as we will be using this as a main form of communication and as our digital portfolio. If you need help with this please contact your child’s learning group teacher.
Specialist Day
The Specialist Day for LC4 is a Thursday. This is the only day the students are to wear their sports uniform & runners. Other days they are expected to be in full school uniform.

Learning Centre Three
The LC3 team are very excited to be working with the 1/2 families in 2020. The 'meet the Teacher chat' held in the first week of Term was a wonderful opportunity for YOU, as parents, to tell us about your child's strengths, passions and social competencies. Thank you to all the families who have signed the Technology agreement for 2020 and we hope you are enjoying, sharing your child's learning journey at OLSC through the Dojo platform.
As a team we can't wait to see the 1/2's flourish as the year progresses.

Learning Centre Two
Welcome to the world of Year Three and Four
Thank you to all the families who have passed through our centre, meeting staff and signing forms to allow learning to happen on the children's Chromebooks. We also have most families connected vis Class Dojo but we are sending out reminders if you are still not connected. Please see Paul for help in the Learning centre if you need assistance.
Specialist Day - Friday
Students wear their sports uniform on specialist day. Specialist subjects for Year Three/Four include PE, Visual Arts, PerforMing Arts, Mandarin, STEM and Technology. Last week was a great day and all enjoyed specialist day as a great way to end the week.
Sacramental Programs - a reminder that children baptised in the Catholic Church are eligible to participate in our St. Andrew's sacramental program. Children in Year Three receive the Sacrament of Penance and in Year Four the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Please see Paul if you are needing further information but most children have already received their journals to attend Mass and begin their family preparation which will be supported by school as each sacrament approaches.

WELCOME to Prep in Learning Centre One!
We have had a wonderful start to our school journey. It has been great to see many families coming into our space to drop off and pick up, we look forward to continuing to meet you all and having a chat!
Reminders:
If you have not signed up to dojo yet please see your child's learning group teacher for a code. Dojo is our main form of communication and is also the home of our digital portfolio. You will be able to see reminders of what is coming up and also what your child has been doing in the learning space.
Preps do not come to school on Wednesday this time is allocated for Prep Interviews where students work with their teacher for 45 minutes. Please see your child's teacher if you have not booked a time yet.
