IPS Music

We have some fantastic programs here at Ivanhoe Primary School.

Foundation, Years’ One and Two perform a combination of, singing, dancing, theory and instrumental activities. 

Years three and four learn recorder. Each class forms an ensemble and we have a nice repertoire of songs which they learn in unison and in parts as well as singing and dancing activities.  A note will be distributed next week for the purchase of new or second hand recorders.

Years five and six will be focusing on composition and live performances.  We will be staging Battle of the Bands in term three this year.

Choir:   Thursday mornings 8 – 9am in the Music Room

Choir is for any student in years 3, 4, 5, & 6 who wish to perform at the Night of Music concert which is held at  Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School mid-May.
