2020 Prep Student Session & Parent Information Evening
Next Monday - 11th November - our new Prep students will be visiting for the 2 hours of the day (9:30am - 11:30am) to meet their new teachers and their classmates. It is a very exciting time as they begin their journey at St. Finbar's. Later that evening at 7pm all the Prep parents will be coming to the school for the information evening.
I am pleased to announce that Miss Nonie Kay and Miss Sigrid Happell will be our Prep teachers for 2020. They will be available to meet parents at the Prep Parents information evening. Thanks also to the wonderful Year 6 Students who have volunteered to speak to the parents about their time at St. Finbar's School - Lucas, Tessa, Sophia and Antony. Thanks also to the many staff who have assisted with the Prep orientation process - Ms Hill, Mrs Ferrari, Mrs Prosser and Mrs Yvette Porter.

Musical Soiree Registation
Thursday 21st November
5:30PM - 6:30PM
Calling on all student musicians interested in performing in our upcoming St Finbar’s Instrumental Soiree!
We would like to encourage musicians of all standards to participate - beginners and experienced - as it will give them a wonderful opportunity to share their musical learning and talents in a supportive environment.
Performers will need to bring their own instruments. A digital piano and music stands will be available for use on the night.
Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
If your child would like to perform, please register here:
This event will take place in the Artroom and on the John Ashe Playground. Entry will be via the front gate of the John Ashe Playground. Hope to see you there.
St. Finbar's has got Talent
It is that time of year again when our SRC student leaders organise the 'St. Finbar's has got Talent' event. I am looking forward to seeing our students perform for their peers in the coming weeks.
Facebook information and Seesaw
Don't forget to follow us on Facebook to see all of the current activities that happen here at school. It is also a great way for Grandparents and special friends to keep in touch. Seesaw is also an excellent way to digitally follow your child/ren's learning activities.
Pre-School Story Time
We will again be offering Pre-School storytime this year in the Library on Wednesday afternoons from 3pm to 3:30pm on 13th, 20th, 27th November. All preschoolers are welcome to attend. Miss Kay and Miss Happell our 2020 Prep teachers will run these exciting sessions.
God Bless,
