Twilight Open Evening
What a beautiful afternoon we had for the Twilight Open Evening! The pre-loved uniform sale was a great success once again. The BBQ proved to be popular, we had some fabulous hospitality group students helping with the cooking and serving. A big thank you to Natalie, Kent, Augus, Nathara and Sienna.
As always, we cannot run these events without the help of our committee; thank you to Mrs Stacy Heywood, Mrs Allison Phelan, Ms Amanda Phelan, Ms Joanne Rees, Mrs Sally Penaluna, Mrs Amanda Welch and Mrs Angela Vlasakakis.
Fun Run
We would still love to welcome students, parents and family members to attend the Fun Run this Sunday, 10 November. You can still register on the day, Registration will open at 8.30am, the warm up will begin at 9.00am and the Fun Run will start at 9.30am. There will be a FREE Fun Zone Activities area which will be run by Kelly Sports. For a gold coin donation, you can have your face painted and a jump on the jumping castle. You can purchase food and drinks on the day. There will be a coffee van, ice-cream van and a sausage sizzle. Come along for a wonderful day of Fun!
Fairview Dance Party
Fairview students, I hope you have your dance shoes ready! The Fairview Dance Party is on Friday 15 November, from 6.00pm - 7.30pm. For those new to the school, or unfamiliar with this event, the Parents and Friends Association hold a dance party for Fairview students only. This is held in Common Room 1 and is supervised by staff and the Committee. It is a fabulous evening where the kids get to hang out with their friends and dance to some really great music played by our resident DJ. Entry costs $5 and is paid at the door. We also sell some cold drinks (water and fruit juice), snacks (small packets of chips) and glow sticks at a cost of $1 each. We normally say $10 for the entire evening is plenty!
Parents & Friends Association – Annual General Meeting Nominations
The Annual General Meeting for the Parents & Friends Association will be held on Monday 25 November, upstairs in the Chapel and Performing Arts Centre (seminar room P24) commencing at 7.30pm.
Please note, should you like to nominate yourself or on behalf of someone else, all nominations for the following vacancies must be received by 4.00pm on Monday 18 November via
