2019 Schools on Stage

Schools on Stage celebrates the performing arts talents of Casey’s young people, whilst also encouraging them to take part in extra-curricular activities to strengthen their connection to the school community, make new friends and build important skills.

CESC were lucky enough to be accompanied by an orchestra who bring the music to life, and students strived to do their best as they performed two items from We Will Rock You.

It was a fantastic evening, hosted by Home and Away fave - Tim Campbell along with 300 students from local schools.

'Come From Away' Education Tour

Last term, our Year 9 Performing Arts Pathway students attended a special performance of the show 'Come From Away' where some filming of the audience took place. This tour organised by theDepartment of Education and Training allowed our students to attend the anniversary performance as well as a Q&A at the end of the show. Students had the opportunity to ask lead characters, directors and musical directors questions about the creation of the performance as well as share their personal connection to this piece.

Attached below is the official footage taken from that day where you can see a number of our students in the background.
