Scholastic Bookclub Issue 5 was handed out this week.  Could all orders be completed by 3pm Friday 28th July.

Save The Date!

Book Week is this term!  During the week of 21st-25th August (Week 6) we will again be holding our fabulous Book Week Parade.  The actual day of the parade is yet to be confirmed but keep your eye for a Compass notice in the coming weeks.

Sora book recommendations

Sora, by OverDrive, is a free reading app that helps students discover and enjoy leisure and classroom reading.  With Sora, students can access digital materials and can filter e-books and audiobooks for any interest and reading level.

Important Note: Content is filtered for age appropriateness. Reading levels and age appropriateness factors are determined by publishing companies.  

SORA is available anywhere on smartphones, tablets and desktops.  All students have been taught how to access SORA. 

Occasionally we are sent SORA chosen books of the week or books of the month.  Below you will see some recommended reading.  

Library book returns

As communicated last term, the Library has now returned to the Learning Centre.  I know many students were unable to return their books due to the closure and packing up of the old library.  I will communicate with everyone when the library is up and running and students can then return their books.  At the moment I am still surrounded by a number of boxes!
