Lord God almighty, bless our grandparents with long life,
happiness, and health. May they remain constant in your love
and be living signs of your presence to their children and grandchildren.

Pope Francis proclaimed the World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly, to be celebrated on the Fourth Sunday in July each year – July 23 in 2023. The day is marked near the Feast of St Joachim and Anne, the grandparents of Jesus.
On Friday the 28th of July at 915am, we invite all grandparents to attend mass. This is a special celebration for both the children and grandparents/special person in your life to engage in this event. After mass, grandparents/special persons are invited to join their grandchildren in class to participate in fun learning. You are invited to attend morning tea in the hall.
On Tuesday 25th July, the Confirmation candidates and their families are invited to attend a Confirmation Workshop facilitated by Maria Forde. This event will occur at 7.00 pm online. A link was sent to all families last week.
Bishop Visit
Bishop Terry Curtin will be visiting the Year 5/6 children on Wednesday 2nd of August at 10.00 am. The purpose of this visit is for the Bishop to meet our Confirmation candidates.
Confirmation celebration
The Year 6 Confirmation candidates will be celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday 13th of August at 3.00 pm at St Fidelis Church. More information in regards to the Confirmation celebration will occur during the workshop.
